井上さんは身の回りの出来事から多くを感じ取り、自ら考え、前進していくタイプのハナサカだ。震災で受けた無力感から活動のタイミングをうかがっていた頃、堀下さんに声を掛けられてhasunohaのタッグが誕生した。すぐさま互いの人脈を発揮してプロジェクトは加速。同志のお坊さん達も社会に関わりたいという気持ちから、ボランティアの募集に快く応じてくれた。hasunohaでお坊さんに悩みを聞いてもらった人は、お坊さんやサービスに投げ銭の寄付をすることができるため、サービスの継続を可能にしている。相談がしにくい場合でも、過去の回答に救われたときは、寄付することでお坊さんと繋がれる。

スモールスタートを心がけて初期投資は少額になる計画にすること、人件費をかけずに運用していくために、人の繋がりや力を借りること。井上さんはこれらの誰もが耳にしそうなスタートアップの基本をこれ以上にないほど丁寧に詰めてhasunohaを形作った。そうしたことで、失敗しないで進められてきたのだという。また、あくまでこのサービスはビジネス化ではなく、相談者やお坊さんの喜びと安心を第一に作り上げていったとのこと。こうして当初から理念が一貫していることもユーザーの獲得につながっていそうだ。

かつてのお寺は、寺子屋をはじめとした活動で、地域における教育や福祉、文化の拠点とされていた。日本全国の人々とお坊さんとの関係性にインパクトを与えてきた井上さんだが、今後は地域に根づく活動を推し進めたいとのこと。次なる事業は、áretという「答えのない時代に、フリーランスの人々が一緒に答えを探しながら働くことができる場所」を作るプロジェクトだそうだ。超社会派、そして正真正銘のお坊さんである井上さんは、今後もあらゆる形で、人々の悩みや生き方を支え、世界をハッピーにしていくだろう。

FOR THE FUTRE｜Turning temples upside down in a modern way

Mr. Inoue has had an impact on the relationship between people and monks all over Japan, and now he wants to promote activities that are rooted in the community. His next project is to create a project called áret, "a place where freelance people can work together to find answers in an age when there are no answers. As an ultra-socialist and a true monk, Mr. Inoue will continue to make the world a happier place by supporting people's problems and way of life in various ways.
